Here's another classic and featuring one of my biggest heroes: Elvin Jones. On the piano McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Harrison on the bass and of course Coltrane on the saxophone.
Due to yesterdays tragedy i was looking at some old Paul Motian stuff and found this exciting piece of music. It's quite brilliant in its laid back and kind of sad and yet happy feelings. Also great drumming on this one. He really was a master. And of course Keith Jarrett makes it even better.
Today one of the great jazz drummers has died! Paul Motian the drummer of Bill Evans has died today by blood cancer! So to honor him i'll play the probably most popular piece of music he is featured on.
Here's your funky breakfast for this saturday. It's a track featuring Jaco Pastorious and Sam & Dave from Jaco Pastorious self titled album. You might know Sam & Dave for their hit "Hold on, I'm Comin'". This was famously covered by Aretha Franklin on her album "Love all the hurt away".
Yesterday i released my own track. So if you like some electronic chilling music Check it out!
Todays track is performed by one of the Danish legends! Kenny Drew was playing with Niels Henning Ørsted Pedersen and Alex Riel in one of Denmark's prime jazzclubs Montmartre. These legends supported a lot of artist and became quite well established musicians themselves. The musicians in this track is written in the desciption, so i won't bother writing them again. This one is called Groovin' the Blues. Enjoy.
Yesterday i played a gig with my band John Dazed and we nailed it! If you wanna listen to it you can go to soundcloud. Here it is possible listen and have a free download.

This track features John McLaughlin on electric guitar, Keith Jarret on Rhodes, Michael Henderson on bass, Gary Bartz on sax. Then there's my favorite drummer Jack DeJohnette trashing the drums and of course Miles Davis on trumpet and if you listen closely you will notice that he is using a wah-pedal.
